DTN Closing Grain Comments 05/04 13:54 Row Crops Sink Lower, Tensions With China Resume July contracts of corn, soybeans and soy products closed lower Monday, pressured by more White House talk of getting tough with China on trade and for China's role in the spread of the coronavirus. Some meat processing plants are expected to reopen this week with slower production paces as efforts are made to keep workers safe. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed down 3 cents and December corn was down 2 3/4 cents. July soybeans closed down 13 cents and November soybeans were down 9 1/4 cents. July Kansas City wheat closed up 4 cents, July Chicago wheat was up 3 cents and July Minneapolis wheat was up 1 1/2 cents.
