DTN Early Word Grains 10/14 05:56 Grains Quietly Mixed Early Wednesday December corn is down 1 cent, November soybeans are up 1 1/2 cents and December KC wheat is down 4 3/4 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst Pre-6 a.m. Globex Prices: December corn is down 1 cent, November soybeans are up 1 1/2 cents and December KC wheat is down 4 3/4 cents. CME Globex Recap: Early Wednesday, European stocks and Dow Jones futures are trading a little higher. Numerous sources are reporting the Senate will vote on a limited plan for coronavirus relief this month. Commodity prices are mixed early Wednesday with November crude oil is trading slightly higher. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 157.71 at 28,679.81 and the S&P 500 down 22.29 at 3,511.93 while the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 0.73%. Early Wednesday, December Dow Jones futures are up 10 points. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 up 24.95 (0.1%) and China's Shanghai Composite down 18.97 (-0.6%). European markets are higher with London's FTSE 100 up 34.44 points (0.6%), Germany's DAX up 38.80 points (0.3%) and France's CAC 40 up 13.34 points (0.3%). The December euro is down $.0016 at $1.1744. The December U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.06 at 93.60. The December 30-year T-bond is up 4/32nds, while December gold is up $6.70 at $1,901.30 and November crude oil is up $0.11 at $40.31. China's Dalian Exchange showed soybeans and meal slightly lower, corn a little higher. November palm oil is trading slightly lower but is still near its highest prices in 2020.
