Tregg Cronin DTN Contributing Analyst Pre-6 a.m. Globex Prices: December corn is down 1/2 cent per bushel, January soybeans are up 5 cents, and December KC wheat is up 1/2 cent. CME Globex Recap: In-keeping with 2020, the U.S. Presidential election remains too close to call in several battleground states, ensuring the fun will endure for at least another day. Equity futures are sitting very close to unchanged after an erratic overnight session as investors wait to see how final vote tallies lean. As of Wednesday morning, it looks as though Wisconsin and Michigan could be called sometime Wednesday while Pennsylvania remains the wild card with only 64% of its votes counted. Energy markets are sharply higher overnight, fixed income markets are higher and precious metals are lower. Grain markets are mostly showing strength with the exception of Chicago and Minneapolis wheat. It's difficult to look too far past election results although the ag space will be the quickest to revert to trading fundamentals.
