DTN Early Word Grains 11/10 05:58 Grains Higher Heading into WASDE December corn is up 3 cents per bushel, January soybeans are up 3 1/2 cents, and December KC wheat is down 1/4 cent. CME Globex Recap: Stronger financial markets again overnight as most investors remain encouraged by the news Monday that pharmaceutical giant Pfizer had strong early test data with their new vaccine. The news sent every asset class on the planet screaming higher in hopes 2021 could look very different than 2020. Overnight, energy markets have continued to rally with crude oil futures back over 40.00 per barrel after dipping as low as 33.00 per barrel last week. It remains to be seen whether crude oil can move away from the 40.00 per barrel mark for more than a few sessions. Grain markets are higher overnight, following through on Monday's higher session as traders prepare for the November WASDE later Tuesday morning. Typically, the November WASDE is on the quieter side of things, although this report is still expected to offer supportive data in the way of smaller U.S. crops and bullish demand inputs. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes on Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 834.57 at 29,157.97 and the S&P 500 up 41.06 at 3,509.44 while the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 0.958%. Early Tuesday, the December DJIA futures are up 239 points. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 up 65.75 (0.26%) and China's Shanghai Composite down 13.59 points (-0.4%). European markets are mixed with London's FTSE 100 up 91.55 points (1.49%), Germany's DAX down 12.2 points (-0.09%) and France's CAC 40 up 60.97 points (1.14%). The December Euro is down 0.004 at 1.180 and the December U.S. dollar index is up 0.145 at 92.860. The December 30-Year T-Bond is up 11/32nds, while December gold is up $23.10 at $1,877.50 and December crude oil is up $0.46 at $40.75. Soybeans on China's Dalian Exchange were up 0.6% while soybean meal was down 1.33% and corn up 0.32%.
