DTN Closing Grain Comments 09/24 14:02 Soybean Oil Leads Friday's Percentage Gains in Grains December soybean oil closed higher Friday, boasting the top percentage gain among grain-related contracts for Friday and for the week. Row crops were quietly mixed as fall harvest heads into an active weekend. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed down 2 1/2 cents and March corn was down 2 1/2 cents. November soybeans closed up 3/4 cent and March soybeans were up 1/4 cent. December KC wheat closed down 1/4 cent, December Chicago wheat was up 6 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was up 4 1/2 cents. The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.30 at 93.33. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 4.38 points at 34,760.44. December gold is down $2.30 at $1,747.50, December silver is down $0.34 at $22.34 and December copper is up $0.0470. November crude oil is up $0.72 at $74.02, November heating oil is up $0.0167, November RBOB gasoline is up $0.0115 and November natural gas is up $0.169.
