DTN Early Word Grains 07/10 05:30 U.S. Crop Prices Higher After Limited Weekend Rains December corn was up 6 cents, November soybeans were up 21 cents and September KC wheat was up 5 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn was up 6 cents, November soybeans were up 21 cents and September KC wheat was up 5 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Monday, U.S. stock futures are trading a little lower with more earnings reports due out this week and a possible rate hike coming later this month. Producer prices in China were reported down 5.4% in June from a year ago, a possible sign of a slowdown. USDA's weekly report of export inspections will be out at 10 a.m. CDT, followed by Crop Progress at 3 p.m. USDA's next WASDE report is coming up Wednesday and DTN will have a report preview later Monday. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 187.38 at 33,734.88 and the S&P 500 Index down 12.64 at 4,398.95. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.05%. Early Monday, September Dow Jones futures are down 28 points. European markets are a little higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.21%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.33% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.39%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 0.61% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.22%.
