DTN Early Word Grains 10/03 05:30 Crop Prices Start Quietly Lower Early Tuesday December corn was down 1 cent, November soybeans were down 7 cents and December KC wheat was down 3 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn was down 1 cent, November soybeans were down 7 cents and December KC wheat was down 3 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Tuesday, Dow Jones futures are a little higher, but quiet as the yield on 10-year T-Notes and U.S. dollar both continue to push new highs.There are no significant reports due out Tuesday. Traders will continue to keep an eye on the latest weather forecasts and take in harvest anecdotes from around the country. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 74.15 at 33,433.35 and the S&P 500 Index up 0.34 at 4,288.39. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.68%. Early Tuesday, December Dow Jones futures are up 19 points. European markets are a little higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.44%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.02% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.04%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 1.64% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.10%.
