DTN Closing Grain Comments 10/31 14:05 KC Wheat Prices Fall to New Lows; Row Crops a Little Higher December KC wheat fell 15 3/4 cents to $6.29 1/4, the lowest spot close in over four years, after USDA confirmed better starting crop conditions for winter wheat than a year ago. December corn ended up a half-cent and January soybeans were up 3 1/4 cents after trying to trade higher earlier in the day. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed up 1/2 cent and July corn was up 1 cent. January soybeans closed up 3 1/4 cents and July soybeans were up 2 1/4 cents. December KC wheat closed down 15 3/4 cents, December Chicago wheat was down 9 3/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was down 8 1/2 cents.
