Club wheat premiums also gained another dime premium over white wheat. Protein wheats also saw stronger basis this week, with hard red winter up a nickel and spring wheat a dime higher from last week. Weekly Sales...USDA reported that U.S. wheat export demand drifted for the third straight week, coming in at 10.1 mb. This puts commitments at 418 mb, which is 7% behind a year ago and 20% below the five-year average pace. Hard red spring was top seller with 5 mb, putting sales at 144 mb, which is 8% ahead of a year ago but 3% below average. Hard red winter saw 2.1 mb in new sales and with 76 mb in commitments, sets 38% behind a year ago and 57% below average. White wheat booked 2 mb to put sales at 89 mb, which is 17% behind a year ago and 22% below average.
