DTN Early Word Grains 11/07 05:48 Grain Markets Lower Tuesday, Led by Weakness in Wheat, Crude Oil December corn is down 4 1/2 cents per bushel, January soybeans are down 4 3/4 cents, December KC wheat is down 6 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is down 1 1/4 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is down 4 1/2 cents per bushel, January soybeans are down 4 3/4 cents, December KC wheat is down 6 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is down 1 1/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are lower Tuesday morning. Monday saw quiet and choppy two-sided trade in the U.S. as interest rates staged a small correction of last week's large losses. The 10-year note rebounded to 4.66% which put light pressure on U.S. equities, although the major averages did manage to rebound and close Monday's trade slightly higher. Tuesday, we will get some new economic data with the Trade Deficit being released Tuesday morning and Consumer Credit report being released Tuesday afternoon. Fed Chairman Powell will be speaking Wednesday, as will several other members of the Fed. Those comments will be closely scrutinized for clues to any changes in the more dovish attitudes that were expressed last week in the post-Fed Meeting press conference. Monday, comments by Fed member Neel Kashkari were more hawkish as he said "We haven't completely solved the inflation problem. We still have more work ahead of us to get it done". OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 34.54 at 34,095.86 and the S&P 500 up 7.64 at 4,365.98, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.66%. Early Tuesday, the December Dow Jones Futures are down 98 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.03%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.3% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.53%. Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 1.34% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.04%.
