DTN Early Word Grains 11/14 05:40 Vegetable Oils Start Higher as Corn, Soybean Prices Pull Back December corn was down 4 cents, January soybeans were down 13 cents and December KC wheat was down 3 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn was down 4 cents, January soybeans were down 13 cents and December KC wheat was down 3 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Tuesday, Dow Jones futures are trading a little higher, in line with most European markets ahead of the U.S. Labor Department's consumer price index for October, set for 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and is the only significant report of the day. Grain traders remain fixated on South American weather and the latest export sales news. They will also keep an eye on Wednesday's meeting between U.S. President Joe Biden and China's President Xi Jinping. Traders may become a little jumpy later this week if no agreement is reached to avoid a government shutdown. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 54.77 at 34,337.87 and the S&P 500 Index down 3.69 at 4,411.55. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.63%. Early Tuesday, December Dow Jones futures are up 7 points. European markets are mixed to higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.29%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.36% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.05%. Asian markets are a little higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.34% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.31%.
