DTN Early Word Grains 11/21 05:36 Grain Markets Higher, Led by Soybeans Amid South American Production December corn is up 1 cent per bushel, January soybeans are up 6 3/4 cents, March KC wheat is up 1 cent, December Chicago wheat is up 1 cent and March Minneapolis wheat is up 3 1/2 cents. By Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is up 1 cent per bushel, January soybeans are up 6 3/4 cents, March KC wheat is up 1 cent, December Chicago wheat is up 1 cent and March Minneapolis wheat is up 3 1/2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Equity markets are mixed after the U.S. market rallied again Monday on slightly weaker economic data that continues to pressure interest rates. Monday's Leading Economic Indicators were 0.8% lower, down a tenth of a percentage point from the average trade estimate. These slightly weaker than expected results have traders believing Fed policy is "just right" with the potential for a soft landing again possible. This morning we will get a read on existing home sales and we also will see the minutes of the last Federal reserve meeting. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous close Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 203.76 at 35,151.04 and the S&P 500 up 33.36 at 4,547.38, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.42%. Early Tuesday, the December Dow Jones Futures are down 67 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.57%, spot futures of Germany's DAX are trading up 0.13% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index are down 0.21%. Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.1% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.01%.
