DTN Closing Grain Comments 12/18 13:57 Corn, Wheat Prices Sink Lower, While Soybeans Hold Firm Monday March corn closed down 6 cents and March contracts of U.S. winter wheat posted double-digit losses, partly disappointment from missing out on corn and wheat sales to other sources and partly due to rain in the forecast for the Southern Plains. March soybeans closed up 8 cents with help from bull spreading in both soybeans and soybean meal. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed down 6 cents and July corn was down 5 1/4 cents. March soybeans closed up 8 1/2 cents and July soybeans were up 6 1/4 cents. March KC wheat closed down 15 cents, March Chicago wheat was down 12 1/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was down 9 1/4 cents.
