DTN Closing Grain Comments 12/20 13:50 Crop Prices Lower as Corn Hits New Low on Rain, Border Disruption March corn closed down 3 cents at a new contract low and March soybean meal was down $3.70 Wednesday, both impacted by the temporary loss of rail traffic to Mexico. Wetter forecasts for central Brazil and the U.S. also contributed to lower closes for March soybeans and U.S. wheat prices. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed down 3 cents and July corn was down 2 1/4 cents. March soybeans closed down 6 3/4 cents and July soybeans were down 7 cents. March KC wheat closed down 16 1/2 cents, March Chicago wheat was down 12 3/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was down 10 1/4 cents.
