DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/03 13:52 Row Crop Prices Quietly Higher as U.S. Wheats End Third Day Lower March corn closed up 1 1/2 cents and March soybeans were up 3 1/2 cents, a quieter day of trading after Tuesday's larger losses. March contracts of all three U.S. wheats were lower with increased precipitation chances the next two weeks seen as beneficial for winter wheat conditions. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed up 1 1/2 cents and July corn was up 1/2 cent. March soybeans closed up 3 1/2 cents and July soybeans were up 4 1/2 cents. March KC wheat closed down 7 1/2 cents, March Chicago wheat was down 6 1/2 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was down 6 1/2 cents.
