DTN Closing Livestock Comment 02/16 15:42 Stronger Tones Lead Livestock Higher Through Friday's End Heading into Tuesday's market, cattlemen will likely be anxious as later in the week a Cattle on Feed report will be released. ShayLe Stewart DTN Livestock Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: All three livestock markets were able to round out the day higher as the market was flooded with ample fundamental support. Hog prices closed higher on the Daily Direct Afternoon Hog Report, up $2.11 with a weighted average price of $69.45 on 2,988 head. March corn is down 1 1/4 cents per bushel and March soybean meal is up $6.10. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 166.25 points.
