DTN Closing Livestock Comment 03/12 15:38 Livestock Finds Support in Tuesday's Market Heading into Wednesday's market, some packer interest could develop but it's not likely that trade will develop until Thursday or Friday. ShayLe Stewart DTN Livestock Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: It was a successful Tuesday for the livestock complex as all three markets closed higher. The live cattle complex was encouraged by strong boxed beef prices and an uptick in slaughter. Hog prices closed higher on the Daily Direct Morning Hog Report, up $1.19 with a weighted average price of $77.35 on 6,599 head. May corn is steady and May soybean meal is up $2. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 245.22 points.

We also provide training based on specialty crops and products, as well as basic training for agents new to the Crop Insurance Industry.

Great American provides convenient online testing that allows agents to meet their federal testing requirement from the comfort of their homes or offices. All agent testing will be completed within Crop University. Contact your regional office representative to establish a User ID and password.
