DTN Early Word Grains 07/09 05:48 Grain Markets Mixed on Bearish Weather Ideas for Corn, Soybeans While Wheat Trying to Bounce December corn is down 1/4 cent per bushel, November soybeans are down 6 cents, September KC wheat is up 1 1/4 cents, September Chicago wheat is up 1/2 cent and September Minneapolis wheat is steady. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is down 1/4 cent per bushel, November soybeans are down 6 cents, September KC wheat is up 1 1/4 cents, September Chicago wheat is up 1/2 cent and September Minneapolis wheat is steady. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed with European markets a little lower and Asian markets higher. U.S. markets are quiet once again after Monday's mixed session that resulted in a slightly lower Dow and a slightly higher S&P. Markets are waiting for the CPI numbers that are coming on Thursday. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 31.08 at 39,344.79 and the S&P 500 up 5.66 at 5,572.85, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.27%. Early Tuesday, the September Dow Jones Futures are up 52 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.04%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.28% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.57%. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 1.96% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 1.26%.
