DTN Closing Grain Comments 07/12 14:21 Corn Prices Survive Friday's Bearish Report Expectations, But Wheat Prices Don't December corn ended up 4 cents after USDA surprised market watchers with a less-than-expected estimate of U.S. ending stocks. September contracts of U.S. wheat suffered double-digit losses after USDA estimated the largest U.S. wheat crop in eight years. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: September corn closed up 1 3/4 cents and December corn was up 4 cents. August soybeans closed down 12 cents and November soybeans were down 2 1/2 cents. September KC wheat closed down 16 cents, September Chicago wheat was down 20 1/2 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 21 1/4 cents.
