DTN Closing Grain Comments 07/16 13:48 Row-Crop Prices See Small Bounce After Midwestern Derecho Hits I States December corn closed up 4 1/2 cents and November soybeans were up 3 1/4 cents Tuesday, getting a little relief from recent selling after a derecho inflicted damage on crops from central Iowa to Indiana. September contracts of the three U.S. wheats were modestly lower after USDA said Monday 77% of spring wheat crops were rated good to excellent. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: September corn closed up 5 1/4 cents and December corn was up 4 1/2 cents. August soybeans closed up 12 1/2 cents and November soybeans were up 3 1/4 cents. September KC wheat closed down 5 1/4 cents, September Chicago wheat was down 1 3/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 5 cents.
