DTN Early Word Grains 07/23 05:51 Grain Markets Mixed After Monday's Very Strong Session December corn is down 3/4 cent per bushel, November soybeans are up 2 cents, September KC wheat is down 6 1/4 cents, September Chicago wheat is down 5 1/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat is down 6 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is down 3/4 cent per bushel, November soybeans are up 2 cents, September KC wheat is down 6 1/4 cents, September Chicago wheat is down 5 1/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat is down 6 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed again Tuesday morning, with European markets higher and Asian markets lower. U.S. markets closed higher on Monday, re-assured that there will be a competitive election in November. In less than 48 hours, Vice President Harris has secured pledges from enough delegates to win the nomination at the Democratic convention in August. Meanwhile, China is seeing its stock market resume its declines, despite a cut in interest rates on Monday that was meant to help stimulate the economy. There was no new economic data on Monday, but Tuesday we will receive existing home sales and the S&P PMI's. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 127.91 at 40,415.44 and the S&P 500 up 59.41 at 5,564.41. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.26%. Early Tuesday, the September Dow Jones Futures are up 23 points. European markets are higher with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading up 0.08%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading up 0.9% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up 0.31%. Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.01% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 1.65%.
